Report a translation problem
I've gotten it to trigger, yeah it's a bit wierd, but I chalked it down to a wierd muscle thing rather than the actual input.
Basically it's a weird motion going from Square/X to Triangle+Circle/Y+B and you're pretty likely to ♥♥♥♥ it up (if you did what I did at first and would hit say Circle/B first before Triangle/Y, try thinking about hitting Triangle/Y first and then with it Circle/B, this works for me when I had was having troubles)
Even worse, even if the move is executed successfully, the game seems to be aware of whether the move will connect or not the instant the attack animation begins. The game is simply not recognising that I am executing the final move. It's going off, but the game isn't counting it, even if by some miraculous fluke it manages to connect with Krillin.
From that, it sounds like the dash itself is being hit too late, have you tried doing the dash activation earlier?
