Green Holy Ground
Anyone have a suggestion? I can't seem to get more than one of their plants down before they take me down.

A couple of tips:
  • It's very hard to keep all your power plants alive from your starting position, so you may have to sacrifice one and build more somewhere safer.
  • Zomg really wants you out of there, so he is very aggressive... until you get close to the Holy Power Plant. Then he'll start defending. That may give you some breathing room.

The difference between your levels of play simply aren't enough. Normally I can play through east, enjoy normal, and work like hell to get by hard. I've spent way too much time on "easy" trying to get through levels. I'm at the point that I'm frustrated and just not playing that much. I've never posted in a single game to complain about difficulty. Having to ask for multiple tips just to get through "easy" sucks. I've come close to winning this level on "easy" but each time I'm overwhelmed by their aggression. I destroy the holy site and can't build on it and that leaves me too strung out to defend. I attack the site and don't destroy and they still just charge my power sources. Frankly, easy isn't and it sucks.

I'll get flamed for this, but I'm at a point I don't care. Not being able to progress even on the easy level is a flaw. Nice game otherwise, but this breaks it for me.

Hi Phin,

Please don't worry about getting flamed! Your point is a valid one. If (even) easy is too hard to beat, this detracts from your game experience. And while we've aimed at making a challenging game, we do want people to have a good time when playing.

I just spoke to Kaboom about this. In the past few days, we've heard from a few others that easy difficulty doesn't live up to its name. So we'll be taking a good critical look at easy difficulty for all the missions in the campaign and I think we'll adjust this setting for multiple missions (including Holy Ground).
It will take some time to make and test any adjustments. I think we'll be able to upload an updated version tomorrow or the day after.

Hi Phin,

As said above, we've made a new build of Powargrid with a couple of tweaks to the easy difficulty setting. The changes should go live shortly (version 1.2.6). We'd love to hear what you think of the mission now.

Funny thing is I passed the mission over the weekend. Not sure when the change took place, but I finally had a game where it all fell into place. If it was the new difficulty thanks.
