Game doesn't launch (solved)

Whenever I launch the game I can only see a brief second of some kind of launcher that instantly closes. Tried verifying the files still doesn't work. I know the multiplayer has shut down but I assume I should still be able to play the game, right?

Solution: Create a "Wings of Prey" folder under "my games"

C:\ ... \Documents\My Games\Wings of Prey

Found a solution in another thread, will leave this one up though if anyone else faces a similar issue.

Before play - create the directory manually:
C:\ ... \Documents\My Games\Wings of Prey

I did.. it didn't work... I tried installing the game into 'C/users/<username>documents/mygames/ wings of prey' and the second time around to 'C/documents/mygames/wings of prey'
Both to no avail...

On my earlier windows 10 PC it worked just fine... I didn't have to do any work around... it's just with my new windows 11 PC I'm having issues....

I forgot to Mention I have the GoG version & have posted queries there too... I was hoping to learn something here as steam users have also experienced similar issues with this game...

Doesn't work for me either. Just returned it and got and entire $2.11 back :P
