Report a translation problem
Thanks for reporting this. It sounds like a very weird error. Out of interest what video path were you using or did it fail in all?
I've recently discovered a weird error in the VLC plugin which will incorrectly set the output module to something other that Wave Out which causes sound to fail. I've found a fix which will be in the next beta which I'll be releasing soon.
The issue I mention above was something I came across but video playback in general is a dark art. There are so many things that can go wrong outside of the player that it's often difficult to fix or even know what the issue was. Glad you found a fix. Hopefully the next version won't have this problem as well.
All the best
Phil
