Linux Test Branch

Hi Linux Gamers -

We've put up an "unofficial" Linux build of Chapter 1 for City of the Shroud!

We'd like to be able to offer an official Linux build of the game and declare our support far and wide, but as a team we don't have the resources or know-how to ensure that the game is working as intended on Linux systems. We still want to see if we can get it there, though, and so we are putting up a Linux build for any interested players.

The Linux version should be set up and ready to go (if the game fails to download or launch properly, let me know!). From there, we want to test the following:

- Game launches and shuts down properly
- Game connects to backend services correctly (Balance of Power working, etc.)
- Players are able to progress through the main story without issue
- Options settings are working
- Online VS battles are connecting, playing, and ending properly, both between Linux players and across platforms (Linux and Windows, Linux and Mac) (We've seen crash bugs occur here in the past)
- Controller support is working
- Basically, it works!

If you do try the game out on Linux, please let us know how your experience went!

If you encounter any issues, we can try to look into what happened and if that's something we can provide a fix for. It might be a little slow going (we're a very small team with a lot on our plates), but hopefully at the end we'll be able to support Linux officially.

I'm on Linux, and there is no Install button from Steam, and no Beta option to find any Linux build.

What did i miss ?

I am now with the Beta Branch, but i still cannot install the game from Steam on my PC Linux. Simply no Install Button, and if i go with RClick, i have the famous message, "Invalid Plateform".
