Hey guys! This is an update log so you can see what's in the works for the next build and what the most recent updates were.

Latest Beta Build: Diluvion 1.17(no-batch)
Opt into beta to try this build out.

  • Fixed bounce on Crippled Lone Lionfish
  • Fixed Privateer & Salvager achievement mix-up
  • Increased crippled ship despawn time
  • Fixed bug - disabling tutorial removing crew comments
  • Localized new text (French, German, Russian, Polish)
  • Fixed bug where zone travel could cause lost data
  • Non-baked collision meshes (may fix some crashes)

  • Fixed world map travel boundary
  • Tweaked air consumption to be less aggressive
  • Empty air tanks now visible in key item inventory, to reduce confusion

  • Tweaked navigation so 'waypoint fish' are more precise and will guide for longer
  • Extended FOV slider - up to +35 degrees (~90 degrees total)
  • Fixed font & icons in compass to be less intrusive
  • Added checkpoints by all landmarks, tweaked checkpoint radius
  • Reloading to checkpoint when save file has no air will refill one air tank


Requested Features (for future updates)
  • Restricted manual save
  • Indicator for new waypoint added (when not near a landmark)
  • Saving dialogue status (reloading file after save won't show read dialogue as 'new')
  • Camera position slider (left, center, right)
  • Alternate 'no resources' play mode
  • Control updates - sub movement independent of camera direction
  • Current crew / max crew indicator
  • Location & route indicator on map
  • Air usage tutorial
  • Cam shake toggle
  • Brightness setting

Bugs
  • FOV slider not saving between loads
  • Mouse sensitivity slider affects interior cursor but not camera speed
  • Manta & Deringer crush depth are displaying incorrectly
  • DOF shader still renders on Mac for fast & good quality settings
  • Inventory / crew errors upon swapping ships

WOW, talk about listening to your community, :P

People complain for just a few hours and you have fixed alot of their problems already.
I will admit I was a bit worried when I saw the thread about the saving because although I still spend a lot of time gaming there are times where I need to turn a game off quickly and searching for save places so I don't lose an hour or so of progress would have turned me off playing.

REALLY looking forward to playing now. 12 hours steam reckons, so It should download before I go to work tomorrow then I can play it when I get home

Thanks. :) Yes of course we listen, we want this to be the best experience possible for our players. We read & watched all the reviews we could get our hands on today, and with the time we had, addressed the issues we could. The current build wont be perfect, but by working with our community we can continue to improve on it. :steamhappy:

I think we all appreciate the work you put into this post release.

As discussed in a thread there is a debate on resources.

All I can invite to is that changes you make in order to please the mainstream masses in difficulty in general (unless it's a bug), make it an option.
There are people who love "hard" games and resource management.
I'm looking forward to navigate without a proper map and with a compass, don't take that away from me :)

Kind of off topic, but you say tonight as in a few hours or 11 hours? On my steam it says the game will unlock in approximately 11 hours :steamsad:

Europe here.
It unlocks around 1800-1900 (and its ~0900 atm).

Yeah looks like it unlocks around 0900 here, just wanted to confirm I wasnt the only one seeing the 9 hour unlock time. Thanks!

Nice response time adjusting to the inevitable criticism. A rapid update looks good on the team.

I saw paursjr and splattercat play this and bought it immediatly. I am very pleased that your team are listening to the early reviews and critisisms and taking it positivily. Cant wait to play!!! :steamhappy:

Hey guys! I think that the most important thing that you must focus is the subtitles on Spanish (at least), that would increment the focus market for you. Plz I strongly recommend that.
