Can't connect with Just Dance Controller
I had connect my laptop and phone to the same wifi, but the app wont detect my laptop even the game cant detect my phone too, had somebody have same issue like me?

Update: I had solved my issue, i tried with my friend phone with bigger screen or phone with screen resolution above 800x480 and it works fine and btw his Android OS is same like me that is Kitkat 4.4.2, so it's all about your phone screen resolution, not OS or your PC/Laptop issue, finally I know how to fix this issue, If you have phone with small resolution, I think you have to upgrade with bigger screen one hehehhe or we have to tell the app developer to fix this issue...

Update2: If it still doesn't work, make sure the game doesn't blocked by windows firewall, and try to set static IP to your computer/laptop and your phone so they can easily connected each other, and hope it help...

Note: So I just checked my phone vendor website, and there's update for my phone to upgrade into lollipop, and hope after doing this, the controller app will work...

Final: Ok guys, when I update my phone into lollipop 5.0 and then my phone become unstable, so I do factory reset on my phone, and I try to download the app again and now app works like magic! all button on main sceen are touchable, and I can't wait to play this game with my own phone, btw Thank for your help and respond into my discussion and see you in the game XD

Same problem, I open the app and works ok but doesn't recognize my pc (but I think it's because I use ethernet instead of Wi-fi, like phones do).

Problem:
- Open the game -> select smartphone as scoring -> open just dance app on my phone -> got the main screen and no changes, always spining circle at top left -> at game it still say "finding nearest phone"

My phone os is kitkat 4.2.2 and that's the latest update for my phone and I think the problem is not from my phone, maybe

In the support they told me it's always wi-fi, not Ethernet, that's why.

If you're talking about the connected device has to be wifi, that's not true.
As I can use my desktop with ethernet and it'll still work.

You can use both Ethernet and WiFi to connect your phone to the computer.
But, while I kiiinnnddaaaa had the same issue, I want to ask, are you tapping the "Dance" button, the big green button on the app? Because that's how I fixed my issue, me being really dumb.

That's 'bout the only solution I know, I haven't had a issue since the minute I downloaded it.

(I'm using a Nexus 6 with Android 7.0 Nugat, so maybe OS might be a issue, I don't know.)

yes, i even tapping every button on that main screen more than twice, and button that work is only "help" and I even cant "change ip manually" and "change uplay account", only 3 button below that work in "help" section, but i'm gonna try it again later and hope it works

and about OS, I think that might be a issue too :|

If you say the Star one, where you check yor device (PS4-XBOX One-WiiU-PC) yes, it's kinda obviously there's the thing to play.
TOG | Vulcan 30 OCT 2016 a las 2:37 a. m.
you should allow just dance program to have access to local and public network, it has worked for me.
Control Panel > System and Security > Windows Firewall > Allow an app throw Windows Firewall

then find "ITF Techno" and check both Private and Public. then try to connect your phone, it should work.

Doesn't work. For me, at least; my Windows firewall is always turned off.

I had do this before but no luck for me, I'm still upset because I can't play this game until now...
