Idea List for Guns Up!
The Possibilities..(Updated: 6/11/2018)

After spending about 60+ hours playing, the game is already beginning to feel reparative. Here we can comment and list new ideas for units, cards, and suggest other new concepts. More units/cards could be very helpful for both defending and also attacking bases (including those higher level ones that are rather hard) due to the current firing lane/choke point meta.

Units
  • Robots (?)
  • Smaller motorized units (jeep with gun?)
  • Demo Expert (places mines/demo charge to clear walls?)
  • Radio Operator (Calls in missile strikes, or airstrikes, or gun runs, or mortar fire?)

Cards
  • Fire Bomb -> Napalm Strike (longer duration+wider area)
  • CAS (Close Air Support)
  • Fight Plane (maybe even kamikaze?)
  • Mortar -> Artillery Barrage -> Railway Gun
  • Missile Strike -> Missile Salvo (x3 missiles) -> Tomahawk Missile (higher power/blast radius)
  • Paratroopers -> Paratroopers Mk. II (better guns and more units?)
  • Army Surplus -> Large Army Surplus
  • Fire Rate -> Fire Rate +
  • Unit Damage -> Unit Damage +
  • Unit Health -> Unit Health +
  • Propaganda Leaflets (Temp. negates any AoE effecting (healing, dmg, and acc. buffs)
  • UAV (not sure of purpose)
  • Rifle Grenades for Grunts (?)
  • Decoy -> Hologram (Longer duration?)
  • Bombing Run -> Carpet Bombing (more bombs/tighter spacing of drop)

Misc/Game Ideas
  • Weather (snow, rain, fog, etc.)
  • Recycle cards for chance at keys
  • Higher value of chest (Scraping) due to low chance of key drops
  • More attack cards upgrades
  • Upgraded version of units currently in-game (ex: Grunts -> Fire Team (+stats))
  • Traps (Base placed items (like barrels))
  • Base vs. Base!
  • More music (Custom Music users can add for battles?)
  • Unit upgrades/cards (Grunts can now throw grenades for ex?)
  • Alliance Message Notification sound/image
  • Supply Convoy using diffrent units/perks to assist in getting munitions.

    -More traps, and maybe some way to set up complex systems of traps that trigger each other and compliment your normal defense!

    -And let the current stuff (Burn Barrels, Toxic Barrels, Barbed Wire, etc.) be upgradable! Barbed wire could do small DoT and have more slowing power, Barrels could reduce HP, gain damage/effect, and eventually have a proximity trigger, etc.

    I could go on forever about that stuff!

    Anyways, what about having more cards?

    -Propaganda: A Special/Attack card. It would turn enemy troops on a small radius onto your side!

    -Sabotage: A special/attack card. It would level some/all enemy buildings one level!

    -HQ Weapons: A Command Card (Stackable). It would add various weapons to your HQ (Similar to HQ defender, but with different weapons). Examples include a long-range missile launcher, an autocannon or machine gun of some type, etc.

    -An "Experimental Weapon" card or something. It would be a transport truck card/an HQ card. When the truck or the HQ reaches half HP, it will become temporarily invincible and turn into a large mech with additional weapons and a lot more HP.

    Anyways, that's all* for now!

    (Keyword: For now :D)


    *And by "All" I mean "Probably not all-I'm probably going to post this and realize I forgot something :P"


    Edit: I forgot something. You know how one of the posters has a tank? Add vehicles! They would take no unit space up, and be manned by your units! They would have very long cooldowns and cost lots of munitions.

    -Tank: Would have a lot of HP, but would be very slow. Uses 2 units-First unit drives the tank/fires it's turret cannon, 2nd units fires from the tank's top hatch. Units shooting from vehicles would have drastically reduced accuracy, but only die when the vehicle dies.

    -Humvee (or something like it): Medium HP. Decently fast. 1 Unit drives the truck, and the other unit fires it's machine gun turret. Can have 2 other units also shooting from the vehicle.

    -Assault Buggy (Or something): Low HP, but fast. 1 Unit drives, 1 Unit fires their weapon.

    -Some sort of flying vehicle: Fast, Medium-High HP. Can be killed by AA guns. 1 unit drives/fires it's guns, and up to 3 other units can shoot from it.

    These would probably need balancing :)


    Another edit: Forgot moar stuff. More hero units/upgradable cards.

    Some of this stuff might be a repeat of someone else's post.

    Hero units:

    -Special Ops: A large squad (around 4-8) of elite units. Stats: Cost: Lots (around 500-800) HP: Around 120-180 or so. Damage: Around 50-80 or so. Rate of fire: Around 4.8-6.5 or so. Reload: Around 0.4-0.6. Range: Around 21. Speed: Fast. Cooldown: Around 8-12 or so. They can climb over walls, and they try to stay out of building lines of fire. They take reduced effect from barbed wire. High stagger resistance. Essentially a squad of elite units.

    -Radio Operator: A unit that deploys specials every so often. Stats: Cost: Around 300-500. HP: 350. Damage: 50. RoF: 2.5. Reload: 1.2. Range: 18. Speed: Slow. Cooldown: 42. They call in random specials every so often.

    -Spy: Basically an assassain. Stats: Cost: Around 150-350. HP: 220. Damage: 1-shot, one kill. RoF: 2. Reload: N/A. Range: Melee. Speed: Fast: Cooldown: 18. Can only be targeted by units/buildings in range when he attacks something. To destroy a building, he must take 5 seconds to plant a dynamite and detonate it. He assassainates enemies/buildings at close range, and has the element of surprise. However, once spotted, he dies quickly.


    Card upgrades:

    Bombing run -> Carpet Bombing: Deals less damage per bomb, but hits everywhere in the area, often hitting some areas multiple times.

    Carpet Bombing -> Raze: Instead of bombs, a bunch of fighters sweep across the area and level everything in their path with heavy machine guns. AA guns cannot destroy the special-they only decrease it's effect.

    Missile -> Artillery barrage: Multiple shots in a fairly small area

    Artillery Barrage -> Nuclear Strike: Heavy Damage to a large area. Poisons the ground, damaging units over time.

    Paratroopers -> Elite Paratroopers: Elite paratroopers have more HP and do more damage. They can also fire before landing.

    Elite Paratroopers -> Aerial Assault: Troops in the area are stunned for a few seconds, then more paratroopers are deployed. Includes 5 normal paratroopers, 3 elite paratroopers, a medic paratrooper and a rocket paratrooper.

    Fire bomb -> Napalm Strike: Higher Damage, and the fire lasts a lot longer. Troops that get out of the fire burn for a few seconds.

    Napalm Strike -> Death by fire: Drastically increased area

    Tear gas -> Poison Gas: Damage over time

    Posion Gas -> Biological Warfare: Instead of DoT, reduces max HP to 1 for troops only, longer lasting stun.

    Decoy -> Inflatable tank: Longer effect

    Inflatable Tank -> Exploding Decoy: Explodes after time's up.

    Landmine -> High Explosive Mine: Larger radius, higher damage.

    High Explosive Mine -> Minefield: 5 mines instead of one!

    Focus Fire -> Mark Target: Longer lasting

    Mark Target -> Aiming Orders: All units will shoot in that general direction, not just those in range.

    Hopefully, I didn't forget anything.

    Or even have it like a drag to make a wall thing, so every time you buy a wall you get only a certain length of wall, and you pay for the length of the wall after you place it, if you have to add a wall to another walls endpoint, you would just click the endpoint of that wall and start dragging to the end of that wall extention.

    both of these ideas would fix that problem by making the walls not be placed with drag and drop.

    I think stretching out the 7 day log in into a 30 day one, may be nicer. Fill up the 30 day log in with bunch of random things, but make the final reward be very rewarding. This may keep new players trying out the game to stick around longer, and make people actually more active, even if its just to log in.

How about making it so a person can see the defending camp layout before attacking. I'm so sick and tired of wasting my attack cards only to find a camp that has bunkers and sniper towers stacked too close to each other. If you're not going to do this then roll it back to the way it used to be so that the rest of us can do the same. Toatally NOT fair the way it currently is.

Hey i think we need some slots for the bases and you can change them in menu.Like slot A for cpu defense slot B for pvp defense slot C for something else.So you dont need to build your base again and again.

Speed up (x2, x3) buttons would be nice. With wave defence at wave 80+ when you get 300-400 dudes to kill, it takes ages for them to trickle to your base in groups of 4-8 dudes, it creates A LOT of dead air of you just waiting and doing nothing.

Command card Mine, that places a mine in a random place (past your defences) on a map.
Ability to combine forementioned Mine card into a Mine Field for 3 mines instead.
Sleeping gas upgrade into a poison gas (same effect as poison barrel?)

About Propaganda drop, instead of negating AOE, how about it droping in a similar manner to Bombing Run and making affected units / buildings friendly for a short ammount of time.

The demo expert is an EXTREMELY bad idea because it would be OP unless its a "one way trip" kind of unit that suicides but does less damage than a rocket but has a bigger burst radius. I say it should be a suicide unit because if it could repeatedly place charges over time it would be fairly broken.

Just some ideas to add on..
- Possibly a card that reduces the life on walls by (?)%.
- Possibly an ability for the Transport Truck to turn into a robot :))
- Possibly a card called "Experimental Weapon" which is a huge blob that bounces within a
radius for (?) duration, causing (?) dmg.
- Possibly change cards such as -20% move speed to include new character models.
- Possibly encourage community participation ex: FAN ART for gold or unique card packs,
tailored to the event.

What about the ability to chat ingame with the person you're attacking (by that I mean leave messages for when they watch the replay) ultimately it would be purely for messages like 'Good base' or 'nice unit look' but a general chat could be helpfull while outside of battle also.
