since i dont want to play it like the first aselia from JAST, where i need to play the ♥♥♥ ver all over just to see the alternative ending (bad ending ) which was removed from the english version.

Yup thanks. Currently generating the patch. Unfortuanatly i think it may have to wait another 16 or so hours before i can post it. :/
I got work in 7 hours and should already be asleep. The setup i have right now for applying the patch will require installing other programs(python) so i want to streamline that so it is a simple solution.
But tests show everything seems to work. The patch files are also kinda big (~1gig)... i might be able to shrink it down some, but having anything working is better than nothing for the people who want it.

If the steam version ever gets achievments it will be more interesting to see how that works with this :/

Also, you'll be pleased to know that JAST officially permits such patches, unlike some of the other publishers (mainly Sekai Project).

Share it however. It's about 1.7 gigs... i could look into doing some unpacking and repacking to get it down, but i wanted something that works for people asap.

This will not hurt your saves, but if you have CGs unlocked you'll lose those (i included a full cg unlock file if you want it.)

When I attempt to run it, the command console closes right away. And idea what might be causing it? Using windows 8.1~ I have this issue with similar programs as well.

Try running with admin privileges.

Doesnt work unfortunately. Its more a widespread issue (one that I never got around to fixing).
Normal command prompts work fine, its just ones opened by an executable that instantly close.

Managed to screen it before it closes this time, apparently its giving me ''error code 14001''
Looks like my Visual C++ broke. I vaguely remember having issues with that a year or two ago. Oh well if it doesnt end up working I'll apply the patch on my desktop instead, and copy the files over.

You know I know this is slightly off topic, but this thread attracted my intrest, and could perhaps answer question I havehad. As some of you have pointed out you can convert ps3 files into steam g game somehow, and make it work.

So my question is this: Arslan warriors of legend has eight chapters on Ps3, "maybe x box, but doubt it. Regardless the s3 has them and they are for sell on amazon 6-8 chapters Steam only has Chapters 1-5.

Would it be possible to buy the ps3 and convert them into the steam game? I so hate missing my content of a story.
