Hey, just wanted to put this here. Somebody made a fan wiki for Expeditions: Viking. I may add some information to it down the road, but it's not half bad already.

if somebody wants it... i have a word document in german with pseudo names for most quests with... complete'ish notes about XP alternatives and so on... its rather raw... and i wouldnt help you translating it into the wiki.. but if somebody wants that file. i could send it to you. covers mostly side quests. (its about 3 pages)

Ah, ok; I haven't started the game yet - just checked out the character creation screen.

I have to tell say, this game is not perfect, it's rough around the edges but it has to be one of the most entertaining RPG's with turn based combat I have ever played. I think if this developer had the time and the cash they could really make some really incredible role playing games. It's just a very cool game. I like it better than Pillars of Eternity, I like it more than Baldur's Gate 2 enhanced edtiion. I've never been a fan of real time anyway, I did like the way they did it in Dragon Age 2 but this is refreshing, I'm convinced turn based is the way to go implemented in this way. I wish there was more polish to it. For one thing I can't find Orkneyjar Island even though I'm supposed to sail to it and meet the Thane but hey, I'm having a good time and I hope to find out how to find Orkneyjar. I realize it's the Orkney Islands only spelled in Old English. but that map is no bigger than piece of construction paper...lol...That map should have all the places you've already discovered. It should be bigger. I'd love to see another Vikinig game like this only with a bigger party. An adjustable party size from the 6 you have here all the way to 12 or even 20. 12 would be good though. Bigger ships? Raids, easier loot , easier upgrades for armor and weapons, it's a clever game, well made, well thought out but it could be better. I realize the difficulty level is amped up to make up for lack of this or that, polish, to make it shine, but the thing is it has some undeniable elements to it that are really well done. I've been playing it since I bought it for the past week.

I have been wokring hard to improve the amount and quality of the information on this wikia and it has now a lot more information than in 2017 and early 2018. It's a proper wikia for this game now, but still some work needs to be done before it's considered complete.

We don't have any plans for DLC for viking, and it's a little too early to talk about what we're currently working on.
