Tutorial on boosting your FPS! (LAG Fix)
Go to Computer>Documents>My Games>paladinslive>ChaosGame>Confing and then open file ChaosSystemSettings,In there find every possible setting with shadow, blur, vsync, bloom, lenses and everything u see "true" with that settings put "false",after that save file and right click on it,properties and then click on read only and apply
After that launch the game launcher and click on little settings/gear icon right next to the language and writte and in the box where it says settings writte this:
-nosplash -USEALLAVAILABLECORES
it will boost ur game and use all your cores since the game doesnt use its full potential
Hope this helped, enjoy in your game! :)
if you are still confused i can make a video tutorial on youtube

pls make a video
what kind of 15 yar old laptop potatos are you people running that this game taxes your system? im using a 770 and a i5 4690, and i get 150fps with max settings. maybe you should upgrade your computer, because this game is less taxing than literally ANY proper release.

Yeah, this has nothing to do with the lag

Yeah, and some of us have barely any money left over after taxes+mortgage+general expenses. Not everyone has the connections, looks and starting cash to land the high-paying jobs.
what the hell are you on kid? if you cant afford to save 200$ to upgrade your video card, you need to reevaluate where all your money is going.
Food, house, etc..

Set world details to medium & you will no longer have that black screen

I am sad that i get low fps i have 2 gb card and a 2.4 ghz cpu, it isnt the best, but it should run this game with more than 20 fps, ill try this out and see what it does

unironically it still works

locate the config inside of the games main directory inside your steam directory

go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Paladins\ChaosGame\Config
(or equivalent)

look for "DefaultSystemSettings.ini"

then change whatever you want in it

I have a fairly good Laptop with Geforce 930M and i5 5200U, and It was great. with 150 FPS. but after half a year of playing Paladins, I started to get around 20-30...

I can confirm that what @PUNISHED HAUS said works.
Changing most of the values to False will render the entire map black with very little to use as reference points, That said the FPS Increase was impressive, Despite the visual lack of a map.
