GRID 2
Why do very few people use the Alfa Romeo 4C?
I use it all the time as it hugs corners extremely well and it has above-average acceleration. As long as contact is kept to a minimum I almost never finish below third.

The same reason people use z28, c63, z06 and Agera - they are simply the best.
You can use whatever you like as long as it is fun for you.

To me 4c has too much oversteer compared to other cars and it lacks power.

Here's a nice description from MSWGR and a video:

Pros:
When I first play Multiplayer during low levels, this car was popular when everyone is using Tier 1 and also the fact that it handles very well in the singleplayer. Also everyone thought the Giulietta being the first car is a weak car. Eventually, people realise the Giulietta has better power and it's more reliable and versatile. The 4C has great handling and it's very easy to drift this car. At low to medium speeds, you can start the drift easily and control it. It's light and it can take on multiple corners at once.

Cons:
Although this car starts well, it has horrible power. I mean really horrible. Once you reach high speeds it's damn slow. Also it has really sensitive steering too. Because it drifts too easily, you might end up drifting when you don't want to. Also at high speeds because of it's very sensitive steering, going too fast in a corner can result in spinning out. Because of it's over sensitive steering and lack of power, people quickly changed back to Giulietta.

Verdict:
You might be better off with any of the 3 muscle cars which you can unlock early, has more power and better handling and reliability. I still hear people say 4C is the best car in Tier 1. What a joke, install upgrades for your muscle cars, not power.

The thing is that he complains about the oversteer but I've learnt to control it and use it to swing round corners which I'd otherwise have to brake on. I don't think it's slow, he's probably got the wrong upgrade setup.
The 4c feels like a slow bird but it's amazing cornering makes it my favorite car for liveroutes. When I do pick it on non-liveroute tracks I'm happy to finish top 3 cause in the back of my head I know a proper z28 driver should beat me.

Same for the T3 Alfa 8c, it's an incredible car which barely looses to a proper controlled z06. Nailing wins with the 8c is so rewarding though as it requires quite some babysitting.

I love not going for the obvious choice and sticking it to ppl who do.

A lot just comes down to being able to handle the car you pick, most ppl I guess end up doing a 150° corner with the 4c (instead of half of that :p) and never give it a chance again.

Would you say the 8C is like the 4C but faster?

Same oversteer'ishness.

I might save up and give it a go.
It's my favorite car in the game right now, enjoy that 8C :)

I gave it a go with a 3-0-2 setup in the Chicago Checkpoint GC and it does handle quite well, though I often braked too late as I'm used to the Atom.
Got the same 3-0-2. The trick is to launch the car in the corner and spend most of the turn countersteering :)

Use the Honda NSX R ;)

God forbid =D

if you like the 8c try the same setup on the Jaguar XKR-s.

3/0/2 or 3/1/1

similar handling, but I think slightly faster. Either way, both Alfa and Jag are great fun.

I actually used the NSX-R the other day.. Won the race somehow. Drives like the agera.
