Race driver Grid 2008 removed from Steam?
Does anyone know if it is true? I found a CD key for it on a website

You are so late with news XD. Its out of steam for around 2 years already.
The key you found on website is nothing special. You can't buy it on steam anymore but you can get keys from keysellers if you find them. In most cases they would work.

So the key from this website, kinguin, still works for steam if I redemm it?

If seller of that key is not a scammer and key is actualy real then yes it would/should work.

And another 2cents about page you mentioned, steam always is censoring name of that website. Whether its safe or not i can't say cause i never used it but i heard you have a chance to be scammed there.

The license is expired 2 years ago, you can't buy on Steam
But you can go to some global store keyseller, they still sell the key even a long time
