In the developer's own words:
Like, seriously? If this was a sequel that that would be fine, but a patched re-release of the original that had some issues which are presumably now fixed and they are charging us?
Thanks again for all the support of the first game, and I hope you give ReGen a shot too.
Anyway, I don't think I'm gonna pay again for the (almost) same game.
I see the coupon, but there are some issues with the dates in that the coupon is set to expire around the same time/date the game is released August 19th, I mean couldn't the expiration date for the coupon be extended? I don't understand why the expiration date was set for the same day as the release, typically you would at least get a couple of weeks to decide. Additionally, even if you wanted to purchase the game today, there is no way to buy or use the coupon, as the game unlocks on the 19th -- here is a screenshot of what I am referring to: http://imgur.com/a/YPWTr
Besides fixes and better peformance and a couple events, what is new (yes, I looked at the link)?
Also this is not just a minor update and cosmetic refresh to an old game. This is a complete re-write of the game in Unity which allows for a much more expansive and seamless game.
Now the entire world will be visible from edge to edge and there is no loading between maps since it is all one giant map.
