Import tables from Xbox 360 purchases??
I bought like almost all the tables on Xbox 360 for Pinball FX 2.
Is it at all possible to somehow bring those over to here??

I didn't think so.. :(
Had to ask though :)

I came here specifically to ask this question. This is very disappointing. As much as I like the new features in FX3 I don't think it justifies buying dozens of tables a second time at full price.

Also is there a way to try the new tables for free in limited mode? I enjoyed testing tables before buying packs on the 360 but I see no option to do this in FX3 without first purchasing the DLC.

Just the way it works. If you buy the latest CoD on yer Xbone but now you decide you want it on yer PS4 should they give it to you free of charge? Same principle.

=/

Powbam, on the Windows 10 version of the game they let you import tables you bought on the Xbox One version of FX2 for free. There's no reason to think they couldn't have done it for the Xbox 360 version of the game as well, outside of technical limitations. It's the same platform and it uses the same MS account.

Don't know what to tell ya. That's something Zen would have to illuminate. Maybe it's M$ the one that made that call, maybe it's Zen. Who knows.

Different tables, different stores, different publishers. That's just how it works.
You can't expect everything to have crossplay.

No but it doesn't hurt to hope for it :)

I will probably only buy brand new tables and not the previous ones myself.

You shouldn't hope for impossible things, it only leads to disappointment.

True but this was possible, just not likely.

The Windows 10 store version seems to import some xbox 360 purchases. It unlocked Walking dead and Star wars tables for me and I never used Pinball FX2 on xbox one just 360

I'd suggest keeping on the lookout for a humble bundle that has a bunch of old tables for a fraction of the price. There's already been 2 so far iirc.

Hey Skid Row,

you could play your tables you had on Xbox 360 in the Win10 Store edition of the game in a bit long of a process.

First, you should transfer your 360 tables into and Xbox One PFX2 (maybe it'll work with a Win10 PFX2 as well, to be honest, I'm not sure about that, but it is the same Live account supposedly). Then transfer into an FX3 version.

You will not able to play those purchases, that's correct, on Steam. Huge bummer, but it is just the way things work now. :/

Hey thanks for the post.

I'll give that a try when or if I ever get Windows 10 :) Appreciate the tips.

Absolutely no worries about not being able to transfer from 360 to steam, I was just curious and hoping for the best. I'll probably end up picking up some new tables or ones I don't currently have on 360 but for the FX3 version.

Keep up the good work, best Pinball game (series) out there, FX.

:)

I finally managed to restore all my Xbox 360 FX2 tables to FX3 on the Windows 10 edition of the game. Here's how to do it:

  1. Make sure you've played Pinball FX2 online with the latest update recently.
  2. Launch the Windows Xbox app on Windows 10 and search for Pinball FX2 tables you own.
  3. Open up the store for each and every one of them and click Get. Since you already own the 360 versions you will see a price of $0.00 for the Xbox One FX2 version. Do this for all your tables. Yes, it's a bit of a pain.
  4. Launch Pinball FX3 and select Import Tables option from the main menu.
  5. It will connect to the server and try to sync your data but the table download will fail.
  6. Quit Pinball FX3 and restart FX3 right away.
  7. Select Import Tables again. Should work now and all your tables will download.
  8. Enjoy!

All my tables imported, except 6 that are no longer supported.

I don't know if this process can work with the Steam version of the game so for now I'll just be happy with the Windows 10 version.
