Any plans on gender swaps for main character?
I had a question about character model. I noticed in the trailer there was a male 'lead', is there a choice for a female? I have been looking around for building/survival games and a few of them includes females (many do not) and also hoping this game will run on my system. I think it should, some of the other builders I'm slightly behind on my ram for them to run right. I really need to invest in a better system. But this game seems to have alot of potential, though I'm not entirely sure, but it seems to have what a few other crafting games have with the added twist that it's more tech/future/alien based, which could be very cool. While I like a few zombie games, there are times I would like to see more survival games that have a little variety. If there is a female lead, then you can probably ignore this question, but if not, I'm sure a few other players wouldn't mind having an additional character to pick from (assuming it's not too much work, no one is saying you have to go all out on hair textures, I know those things can eat up time). But, I really do identify more playing as a female, but since I don't really know the story of this game, I'm not sure if it was intended as male protagonist.

But, I won't be picky I can play a dude (been doing it since the early days of JRPG's LOL, but I was so glad to finally be able to play a few females characters during the mid 90's). It really is hard to find a survival/crafting game that looks alright and doesn't cost and arm and a leg (but more importantly that it runs on my system. I think I have a good shot with this game, so I'm willing to give it a chance). I don't have much experience with crafters, except Sims and I have tried one or two others but never for any length of time. When I looked at the demo it seemed like crafting wasn't overly complicated but until I try to go in-game I won't really know for sure. It looks graphically pretty great compared to other demos I've seen, but I do care about what may or may not bog down the game, so guess I'll just have to try and see. Thanks for listening and I'm hoping I can provide some helpful feedback in the future. I try not to overly criticize, if I only pay a few dollars for something but have got at least a few hours enjoyment or learning, then I really haven't lost anything. I tend to like a wide variety of games, though I tend to pull the atmospheric and story driven ones more than most, but sometimes you just want to try your hand at being creative and clever.

Good to know, thanks for the reply. It looked like an interesting concept either way. I'm just as into sci-fi as I am fantasy or horror. Hopefully I can get it on my next purchase, I wanted to get this game when it was on sale, but they had it up on sale when some of the resident evil games were on sale (& I hadn't done any of those since 3 & Code Veronica lol). But, in a way I often do support smaller companies and in some cases games I know only have 1 or 2 ppl working on them, because most of the bigger companies have like 50 to 100 people working on them, well give or take. You always have to admire games that accomplish alot with limited resources or people.Sorry it took me awhile to reply (I can only game on my off days), so I really have to pick and choose sometimes.

Hopefully you didn't get this game...under any circumstances. It's bad, it's broken and it will never be fixed. It's jumped between mixed and negative since the first week it was on early access and has never been positive from then through release and up to today which is a couple months after release.

Don't buy it ..no matter how much it costs and if you get a key as a gift for the love of God find someone to trade it with
