There are N mods to make that work, each one with their own shortcomings on it.
I also dont like Pippi because it compels you to accept a lot of things it does that imo are detrimental.
ToT is one popular choice. But it is not without its drawbacks. One of them is Pippi does have a better handle in the management.
So I need: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3036057084 + https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2850232250&searchtext=tot+admin
Correct?
Can I disable all other functions of the !TOT mods except for the custom trader part?
If that is everything... I only use it to setup a an admin trader/shop where people can buy things otherwise not in the game. Like mod items :). Is this possible?
What I meant is:
Besides spawning by admin the own game merchants in a place you choose, there is nothing you can do on the base game that is not offering a neutral place for people to trade. You have to use a mod to make anything "specific" like selling specific items, and stuff.
You dont really need a modded full trader scheme, if you have someone who know how to make mods, they can simply make a marchant themselves like the NPCs in the game already, and change what they sell. They are all tables someone with no specific knowledge of "code" can simply follow instructions and change those tables.
You dont "NEED" TOT or PIPPI, or anything. They are just alternatives with their pros and cons.
Well I dont know anyone and i want a quick fix for the thing i need :-).
Will TOT do?
Imo, ToT probably better than Pippi, while I dislike either.
I am a fan of being able to "steal", "kill for things" and emergent gameplay.
I myself dont like schemes of currency in games that are "supernaturally" protected by virtue of not being an item you can be "relieved of" by an enemy, NPC or otherwise.
