Phlog. Pyro Upgrades
Just bought a phlog for MvM. What are the best upgrades to get for it?

Since you're able to heal on demand upgrading resistances is a good idea.

Damage and ammo first. Then health on kill while you build resistances. You can use uber canteens until resistances are maxed out.

Damage, Health on Kill, Ammo, Burn Damage. You don't really need resist as a phlog pyro, since in never takes you more than 2 secs to build up a charge . And hardly anything will survive even a second., You'll need the occasional uber canteen for giant soldiers and heavies.

well if u plan to play phlog pyro on advance big rock broken parts, or bone shaker the upgrades I usually get first is..

broken parts. max ammo, 2 on health on kill and save teh rest of the money to upgrade attack damage after wave 1 is done spend on 2 attack damage, and some on resistence. uber cantens but if your really good at phlog and have a good team uber cantens won't be needed much

bone shaker.. max ammo, 2 on health on kill, afterwards save money to spend on attack damage after wave 1 and get some resistence on the type u need, uber cantens but in this easier version of bigrock u don't have to really.

decoy- same method as above, spen money on ammo capacity first, and get 2 on health on kill, after wards spread teh money on damage and resistence u need for each round. uber canteens but u probably only have to use uber cantens to kill those engies and their stuff or on the giant boss still.

some people spend on max ammo first and all on damage, but I like to do a little of resistence after I got max ammo and 2 on health on kill. that way seems to work out for me. On expert its a little trickier and harder phloging but not impossible did tours with phlog and was able to pull it off. though I wouldn't phlog unless u have a team made of 2 heavies, 1 scout, 1 demo, 1 engie or phlog pyro to replace 1 of the heavies on expert mode.

Power, ammo, burn damage, movement speed, health on kill.

Forgot about movement speed. Upgrade your gun get a few resistances and then max out movement speed. Nothing can touch you. You're as fast as a scout.

Damage, ammo, move speed, then move on to health on kill, and resistances.
This allows you to deal sustained damage to giants and tanks, and later, you can go full ret@rd, W+M1-ing your way through hordes of smaller bots.
As for fighting tanks, stand directly in front of it, and hold M1 and M2.

Resistances, health on kill, ammo. Damage isn't really needed at the beginning considering how fast Mmmph fills up. You could also go for movement speed instead, allowing you to circle enemies, making you harder to hit.

What they said, but I quite like having health on kill as my first mods. Basically makes you untouchable early on. Damage resistance then makes you untouchable later on.

It depends, if youre going Phlog that generally means youre going to be the solo tank destroyer. In that case, Max dmg and Ammo first. Then max out your flare gun for artillery support later, unless you want to go Philog all the way.

Add some resistances here and there depending on the wave : D

Hate to be cliche, but Damage and Ammo should be your first priority, since you can

already heal when you want, and then you should go headfirst into resistances.

If you want, upgrade Movement Speed along with resistances to dodge the crit soldier

rockets, since you don't have any airblast. Or, just use an Uber, and watch things die.

Also, don't let the Medic Kritz you.
