Team Fortress 2
MvM Exclusive weapons!
Have a weapon idea that was deemed too OP? Getting bored of MvM's limited customization to already existing weapons? Do you like having fun with unbalanced weapons, but don't want to make the regular game unbalanced? Then we need MvM exclusive weapons!

I was inspired by a conversation I had with my friend who was dissapointed that MvM didn't have special weapons like in Call of Duty World at War's/Black Ops's ♥♥♥♥ Zombie Mode. I'm talking about weapons like the Ray Gun and Wunderwaffe DG-2.

These could be for any class and could be ANYTHING! You could also link cool weapon submissions from the Steam Workshop that might seem a little to complicated for game balance. Explain how the weapon should function, and any other information.

Here's an example of what to post:

Weapon: Headless Horseless Horsemann's Headtaker (one hit kill version)

Description (optional): The true version of the haunted axe. Robots have no souls, therefore the Headtaker must kill over 1000 robots to satisfy it's thirst for oil.

Pros: +200% Damage

Cons: No Random Crits
(Remember you don't have to list off cons because these weapons are allowed to be atleast somewhat Over Powered, but you can if you want.)

Class: Demoman

Cost (optional): $1200

And if you want to link something here's an example:
(also, be sure to credit the original creator)

Weapon: Backbiter

Original Creator: Owl Exterminator

Class: Sniper

Pros: Kills any Spy that backstabs you

I wanna see some good stuff! :D

How about no
The Back Biter only kills 1 spy

It was just an example of how to link a creation that someone made.
How about no

Why not? It could get more weapons into the game, which keeps fans playing, and keeps the game alive. It could also give Steam Workshop Weapon creators more recognition and maybe even more chances for their weapon to be in the game.

Its a nice idea, but here's what Ive expeeienced so far.

MvM gives you the opportunity to enjoy using weapons you do not normally use. Brass Beast , for instance, I do not use except on rare occasions when defending the last cap point or the final stage on payload. However, I use it almost as a rule in MvM when I play Heavy. There are quite a few more that fit into this category for me, as Im sure there are many other players. I suppose if you are a one or two class player you may not get as much benefit; but I play all classes and there are lots of weapons I do not use often, that I use a lot more in MvM.
