HATS =/= UPDATE
Can somebody tell the Valve staff that adding more hats doesn't count as an update? I think the collective community, sans the Trade Fortress 2 players, can agree that we don't need more hats and don't give a sh*t. We need bug fixes. We need new weapons. We need some weapon balancing! We need actual support, not some half-assed attempt at keeping players and making new ones.

The community has asked for so much, like an actual Winger Buff, 3 misc. slots and less lag. Valve responds by nerfing the Sticky Jumper. Can Valve get this through their heads? They're just making things worse.

I know they have a lot of plans and projects right now. Dota 2 is their cash cow, the Steam Box/ Controller/ OS is their publicity stunt and Gabe's meals are the highest priority. However, when they actually "update" TF2, you know, once in a blue moon, they just make things worse, and unnecessarily too. More lag, disappearing items in BPs and general community disapproval all lead me to believe that Valve is giving less and less of a crap about TF2.

I would gladly give up all their stupid comics in exchange for an actual response to the community. We don't want Halloween restricted items and strange hats. We want more weapons, game balance issues resolved and more weapons. Am I wrong?

(any and all examples used aren't bargaining points with Valve, just examples to be put out there)

I agree with you though, but Valve just now learned to count to 3, we can't push them THIS hard.

I'm sure Valve does a lot of hard work tryin to make a nice FREE game for you all, and I'm sure they would appreciate you not ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about them and their work!!

Hats are nice. We just want an ACTUAL update.

Listen, this may come as a shock: people paid for this game. They didn't pay for more hats that they would have to buy. They paid for a good game, which TF2 ought to be under all circumstances.

Yup. I payed for this game (i still have my original box and cd) few years ago, and the lack of weapons added, is really dissapointing, in the lack of hats added...I know that it isnt easiest to make a weapon with stats, which wouldnt be OP/UP, but actually usefull, but common. Last weapons were added last Christmast, thats a long time ago, so few weapons could be added.

Read the OP. If you cannot differentiate adding hats to adding a mechanic to the game, then there's a different problem.

I don't mind hats. I don't care how much hats they are still going to add. But i don't want 'updates' that only contain hats.

We dont want an update only having over 50 hats/miscs. Most of them are cruddy reskins with only 2-5 good hats. Does an update like that exist?
