Team Fortress 2
TF2 and Steam guard
Hello, I have had TF2 for at least 3 weeks and have had steam guard enabled ever since i got steam( at least 2 months) and when i try to trade with anyone or they try to trade with me it says person not avalible for trade or something. I have reaserched this error and found out its that you have to have Steam Guard enabled for at least 15 days before you can trade with anyone. And i can guarentee Ive had Steam gaurd for well over 15 days. I decided(on Sunday[todays tuesday]) to just disable and re enable steam guard as well as contact Steam Support(though they dont seem to respond very fast D:). I decided to see if you guys can do anything or have a way to fix this. If you dont and Steam support doesent respond I just have to wait till next wensday or so. But please do respond if you have any advice on fixing this OR on getting steam support to respond faster.
Thank you for reading,
Sincerley,
Nick

you're fine with the steam guard part but the problem is that you're free to play.
Restrictions for f2p include not be able to trade. This can be resolved if your account upgrades to premium within tf2

Bro you messed up..you had to contact Steam support and wait for their incompetent butts to reply to you. You messed up by disabling/re-enabling it again, all they will say now is to wait ANOTHER 2 weeks before inquiring about it. Sorry.

im trying to find the FAQ link where i read that your account has to be at least 30 days old for something. But dont quote me on that. Either way i would try trading out of the game. Yeah support takes a few days to respond i would imagine all the traffic they get
Well i HAVE ALREADY had steam guard enables for at least 6 weeks so...
