what is up with this new f... steam guard.
my friends cant trade and it says steam guard is not active but it is and has been for 3 weeks but stil not working. anybody have the same problem


cant even contact support because the direct issue is not an option.

Has your friend bought any games on his account ? If he only has free to play games then he will never ever be able to trade his items or place items on the market.

He must first buy a game on steam, then enable steam guard for 30 days. The 15 day limit is for accounts that own games but disable steam guard and reable it in a short space of time for what ever reason.

I have the same problem on my second account, even though I bought games over a year ago, steam wants me to buy something before I can list items on the market.

you get to steam guard by clicking "steam" in the top left corner of the tab then in account under security status it will say verify your email or steamguard not enabled... ihave no idea how to ENable itcos nobody is ♥♥♥♥ing telling anyone costhey're all ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ they just say you have to enable it then wait 15 days, HOW THE ♥♥♥♥DO yOu ENABLE IT!!!!
