tf2 key price change

i find this stupid, 3 ref + for a key, i loved it when 2.55-2.66, mainly because 2 craft hat = key, what are your thoughts on the key price change?

Think about who decided the key "price" would change. Stop reading these b.s. "spreadsheets" and use your head. Keep it at 2.55-2.66 or whatever you want. Someone will sell it to you for whatever amount you ask for.

its supply and demand. keys will allways go up becoues everyday more and more metal comes on the market from people finding items from drops makeing metal cost less

keys dont come out as mush, and most of the time they are used for crates

the othey way to make keys cost less is to make the item drop lower (but that would make lots of people angry)

There is actually no logical reason as to why keys are at 3.33-3.55 ref (backpack.tf prices) it's just that most trader's found the prices changing on (most likely) spreadsheet and we all know that site is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥t. Then they applied it everywhere. No offece Lucifer but I think you're wrong, just because more and more metal is produced daily, it doesn't mean that keys have to raise in price, as I said before people are just dumb and greedy. In the end, it's just what we make it, if nough people go against it then we'll be fine, I miss the days where people would accept 2.55 ref for a key.

yup most the economy fluxuation is due tue the market, updates, thoose hats being removed, and buds, an economic crash for tf2 could be coming but either way it should get better

Right around 4.11, from where I am.

This might not be true, but here is what I think caused the key price increase:
I remember seeing a backpack with 600+ keys in it. Even more by now, of course. I don't remember the username, but he's driving up the price of keys, buying as many of them as he can.

Jason makes a good point, I remember some time ago something similer happend with the S.Degresser I beleve. A small group of people started hording them and selling them for alot more then the usual and the much higher price sticked. The price probably never came back down. Its a shame really.
