keys are going up because they're expected to go up
just ignore both and buy hats, which haven't changed in price
Why are buds so overrated anyways? There are publicly available items rarer than them.
Keys are going up because, like I said before there was a bunch of credit card stealers and they used the credit cards to buy a ♥♥♥♥ ton of keys and hoped to make a quick profit, valve caught on and deleted the keys from the groups that did this. This meant that a big majority of people owning keys just dissapeared and keys went up in price. Thats one of the reasons.
And actually stuff like clean hats and miscs are going DOWN in price. For example I had a candy nose I traded for (clean) and when I got it I check the price and it was worth a key. Now I check the price its gone down to a few refined same thing with alot of my hats and miscs. Why? Because keys are going up.
None wants metal anymore, they are used as a currency under keys thats all they are used for nowadays. None wants it so it goes down in value and now people don't want metal they want items that are relatable in price. The only true uses for metals is currency for tf2 trading community and crafting hats which is normally a lost since like I said before hats are going down in price and its more rare to craft a random hat thats worth more then 3 ref.
