Vita-Saw Change
I really like the vita saw and it has a nice look, but alot of people really think its silly to use because of the ubersaw. So I thought of a change that would make the vita saw a great unique weapon! I like the original already but it is very underappreachiated and I think it needs a change for the better because it already has a nice design. So anyways I hope you guys like it!


Attack gains as Ubercahrge increases, maximum of +50%

-15 max health on the wearer? yes or no?
-25% ubercharge build rate

Remove the health penalty and you got a nice weapon!

Cool...I like my Bank System but your idea can work.
Why can't it just be like it is now, but with more ubercharge saved on death?

Vita-Saw is on par with the ubersaw and amputator and always has been.
No need for change.
To be honest, I prefer the Vita-Saw because I suck at melee. Although maybe if I practiced more, I would get better at it, and could show the Ubersaw the love it deserves...

But that's besides the point. If the Vita-Saw is to receive a buff, perhaps a bit more % of uber mantained, or even slightly faster uber building, I don't know. But don't take away its main feature because it's really useful.
The idea behind it is already nice. But it should be like that: On death: stores 40% of your actual übercharge: means when you died with 100% über, you spawn with 40% über. When you die with 50% über, you have 20% when you respawn.

Downsides: -10HP
-50% heal from healing sources

Yeah, when to comes to weapon rebalance suggestions, they only base it on how they play it,
like how the RazorBack is useless in pubs but a lifesaver in Competitve....

I used to think Razorback sucked... Then I started playing lobbies as Spy. :P

...and meleeing with a class that is not only fairly squishy but more importantly needs to stay alive to build up and use ubercharges, is pretty questionable even if you're reasonably practiced at melee.
Unless you are playing comptetetive or with people who know what they are doing you wont be dying much as medic so the 20% saved isnt very helpful and when you have 10 less health you will be dying more so its basicaly just a downside. I can see on a map like turbine or koth how people could easily get behind you and get easy picks then it would be useful but on other maps not so much.
Please remeber that the vita-saw is banned in competitive; both medics need to have it equipped or one will always be at an uber disadvantage.

That's way too good, an extra 4 seconds of uber or crits at the expense of 10 health.

I agree. As a Massive Vita-Saw User, I love the weapon, but that's overpowered.

Hmm, you're right. Maybe same thing but instead -25 health?
