The Orange Box - TF2 Error on PS3

So I bought The Orange Box recently for PS3, and I tried to play TF2. It worked perfectly well for the first time. A few days later I tried to play again, but when I tried to connect a server I encountered an error saying "Error communicating with EA online. Please try again later."
At first I thought it was only an update, but this happened a week ago and it's saying the same error again. Can someone help me?

Im not sure how to help you. But these fourms are for the pc version of tf2 so I don't think you will find much help here. I suggest calling steam support.

Why would you want to play TF2 on PS3, anyway?
Just play the vastly superior PC version.

It's a possibility that EA has shut down the servers for the PS3 Version, seeing as the game is over 7 years old now, they never bothered to patch it, and PS3 is now a last gen console.

Hello, EricS. I seem to be having the same problem for a few months now - along with several other players, we are facing issues connecting to EA servers. The game's servers are still up with an active community wanting to play, however, servers are unplayable due to lag.

I believe that EA control servers, though several attempts and several hours of live chat has gotten me nowhere as they state that Valve are responsible for server maintenance. Is it possible for you to help with this?
