Bootstrapper Error HELP ME PLEASE
hey guys

I recently got a new laptop, and yesterday (the day i got it) it worked fine and played steam perfectly

Got on today when i was done with my homework to find that i couldn't go on steam. It would load it up and everything but like 10seconds after it was loaded, a message popped up saying "Steam Bootstrapper Error" and crash steam. This is on STEAM itself, not TF2.

Does anyone know how to fix this? I've been using different compatibilities for 3 hours now trying to fix it (not gonna play anymore, just afraid something is wrong with this new computer). I have also tried uninstalling and reinstalling steam

Well, it's obvious that you need to tighten the straps of Steam's boots.
