Why do so many people name their Shotguns "Kurt Corbain's Microphone"?

Maybe it is just me then, I am just suprised that the community would even be "culturally educated" enough to come up with weird niche names for there guns, especially when the vast majority of players are under 20 and where young children or non-existant at the time of Nirvana.
