TF2 won't launch

When I launch TF2 I get an ERROR saying:
"Tried to add C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Team Fortress 2\tf\custom\material as a search path.

This is probably not what you intended.

Check C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Team Fortress 2\tf\custom\readme.txt for more info"
I validated my steam files too.

In custom, put a new folder called custom content, proceed to put the files from custom to custom content.

Custom is for VPK files and Custom Content for pre-steampipe files.

Never Mind, I solved it by deleting everything in my Custom folder. I guess I didn't properly get rid of my mods before. Thanks for helping though.

Uhm, I still get that problem, however my error isn't saying the materials folder is the search path, it's my sound folder in custom, I tried deleting my sound.cache file inside the folder, but it didn't work. If you have a solution to this please reply. -Thanks, Vorpex

NVM, I fixed it by deleting the entire sound folder.

this did work....somewhat, it loaded the game, but it did no good, because it kept flashing a black screen to my desktop constantly until i forced the game to shut down.

I tried moving this to a whole another folder it still says what the other guy had said to him I am pretty sad that I cannot play!
