Custom Domination/Revenge/Nemesis problem
Okay,so i wanted to use a reading rainbow sound effect (check them out, they might sound familiar) for D/R/N sounds, I converted them to wav file in sony vegas (this may also be the problem since there were a couple of 44,100 hz 16 bit stuff, which I don't know which to choose from) put them in my_custom_folder/sound/misc, and yet its still plays thr normal D/R/N sounds, I tried to search answers, but as of now it doesn't lead me anywhere. So, any Ideas on how to fix this?

I don't know about why they aren't working, but when it comes to the 44.1 kHz and 16-bit depth, they probably need to match whatever sound setup tf2 uses. The most common types are the one you mentioned, and the other is 48kHz, and 24-bit depth.

I just read somewhere that 44.1 16-bit should be good, but the file needs to be exported as mono, not stereo.

Something about servers set to sv_pure 2 also apparently disables custom sounds.

Any valve server or any server with sv_pure set to two will play the default domination line.

Hey, it worked, thanks for the help, the problem was the rendering setting, I didn't know what to choose from, God Bless You :D
