Why is it taking so long to find a game?

If you woke up early its a rare chance to find a server near your location, or its basically just, Luck.

it's happening to me too, 100+ compatible players, but i've been waiting for well over half an hour

The servers get better as the day progresses. At least for Virginia servers

I'm having the same problem. Just today, past days was ok at finding a game. Dafuk had they done with last updates??? Today there's been a little one.

I dont know whats up guys but I just had 2 updates install and ever since that it just sits and the searching... screen cant find a game for me to join, and time is not the issue here I have played this game all night long till 10am before with no problems. something is wrong here

It's a problem with the servers. It's being worked on

Yeah it's taking me longer than usual. Most days I'm able to connect to Virginia servers at 6AM faster than I can today at 9AM.

I can't find a casual, comp, or mvm match. Community servers are okay though, so I assume it is a mistake on Valve's part. "TF2 game coordinator is currently down"

The game coordinator has been having issues since last night. Casual, competetive, and MvM have abnormally long wait times at the moment and are not guaranteed to give experience/tour credit.

Community servers are still fine if you don't mind wading through the browser.
