[PSA] Pyro Update and You

Well the update has finally been announced and there is much to discuss. Now, while you look at the update, is seems that there is still some stuff missing (i.e. Comp/Casual matchmaking, ELO, Pyro's other weapons, etc).

While it is disappointing to not see them up yet, there seems to be indication that this isn't everything as implied by the sentence "The Jungle Update is almost here". Whether it's tru or not is up in the air, as I"m also confused. Hopefully Valve elaborates further on this.

What we got

1. The update got a ~5 minute SFM video.
   
   
2. Eight new taunts
   
   
3. Four new Pyro weapons confirmed. Read all about them on the website!
   
   
4. Flamethrower mechanics rebalanced at last! Better visual sync and more consistent particles. Particles also remodeled. Applies to all flamethrowers!
   
   
5. Afterburn duration now based on how long an enemy has been hit with direct damage so puff-n-sting can no longer ignite you for a full ten seconds!
   
   
6. Airblast is overhauled! Hit detection now fixed and changed to a cone shape so aiming at people's feet doesn't miss. Airblast also factors the momentum of Pyro and target, and no longer completely stunlocks! The upward push is also now factored into airblast ratehr than as a seperate force (so no more airblasting people into skyboxes unless directly above them) and stronger airbalst push in general!
   
   
7. New secondary for Heavy, the Second Banana. Read about it on the website!
   
   
8. All new weapons acquired through seperate "Pyroland" contracts and is free for everyone to acquire.
   
   
9. Old and new skins -now called War Paints- can now be applied to unlocks as well as stock, but (assumingly) not all unlocks; a list will likely be given in the future. Now you can have full sets of pained items of the same color. Skin cases are now replaced by these new warp paint cases, and you can choose any the case offers. Community skins now exist, and chances of "Strange" and "Unusual" skins too!
   
   
10. Blood money system added to help earn certain campaign stuff, but contracts have a higher chance of dropping the same stuff (including more rare cosmetics/paint). Read more about it on the website!

Additional Notes

• Please note that Valve servers may be down following the update dropping. Please do not freak out, give them some time to get everything set up. I would suggest talking about the balance ideas in the meantime.

Also... I really do think we're gonna get atleast one more weapon that is not for the Pyro honestly.

I remember in a b4nny stream back in 6th or 7th of july last year when the update was coming, b4nny said something along these lines:
"There will be a new sapper for the Spy"

And I do remember he was playing on frontier when he said (something like) that.

OF COURSE, there is a possibility he was just joking or pulling the watchers' legs, but I don't think Grant would do this to us.

TL;DR: Maybe a new sapper. Don't take this for granted though.

Im really curious about the weapons.
Also i think as soon as the pyro update is released the people who cant wait for the update will start to not be able to wait for the heavy update

U just made a thread about pyro update that gives us informations we actually know because everyone is like : "o mei gud piro updeit es coming out".But i like the ideea , u have listed every info Volvo gave us about pyro update.

I do hope this gets pinned too. But there will still be people posting about Pyro/Jungle, because at the end of the day, the community is divided.
