I also have crases in the kind scene (collect fragments for sally)
So I experimented a bit. I think it has something to do with Henry. I can produce a crash if I walk around and look on Henry. Maybe one of his movement animations is the problem.
I will send 2 logs of crashed games to the devs.
I like to finish the story, so please fix that!
Playing a Henry the game keeps crashing and crashing and crashing
playing on a Mac.
Use hex editor and open <path-to-game>\StateOfMind\Binaries\Win64\StateOfMind-Win64-Shipping.exe
Go to 0000AC43 offset and change 48 to 4C.
Go to 0000AC4B offset and change 48 to 49.

Start the game. This fixes an issue with the Unreal Engine 4. It even works for other games using the same engine. In my case it was "Call of Cthulhu". Hope it works for you. :)
