Update stopped game from loading!

So, just got a 350Mb update, no detail as usual and my game won't load past "connecting".
Whats going on?

I got connected this morning, no reason why, it just worked? Now lets see if there is any response from GOP.........silence so far!

I still can't get on, and Steam is now pushing their HD Poker game. I may have to check it out. The last update I have listed is the one from the 17th, so they haven't pushed anything my way that I can see.

When I tried HD Poker, they still had Bingo, but not nearly as bad as GOP!

I gave it a quick try, it'll take some getting used to, not as clear as GOP but I might just get used to it.

In my case, it's a matter of necessity, if I wish to play poker at all. I have 2000 hours invested in GOP3, and i've got half a billion in chips, but I can no longer access the game. All my other Steam games are working fine, but GOP3 updated their game and killed my access. It's enough to piss off the Good Humor man.

I understand that, its a nightmare. Just a thought, have you tried turning you Anti-Virus/Firewall off for a minute and try again. Sometimes an update in a game can cause AV to block it?

Yeah, I gave that a try. No luck. I'm resigning myself to the fact that I'm going to need another game. I'm using a Mac, so maybe it's only a problem for my OS.

Having to turn your AV and or Firewall off to me is Alarming and raises concern to the software that I am installing!

100% DON'T SHUT OFF ANYTHING!
IF YOU CAN'T CONNECT TO THE GAME IT'S NOT YOUR PC ! IT ON THEIR SERVER END AND THEY NEED TO FIX IT ! SAME REASON when you are changing tables or are trying to join a blackjack table sometime nothing happens . You will see the table but the game lags or their server is crap! And or you have to exit to get it to get it to work again. Their server is crap.

Exactly... however sometimes it can be the network path is crap as well and not their fault, however, most of the times it is overloaded servers. Users using DSL or lower connections will suffer more with this... Their servers need updating big time.

I have 1000mb down load and 500mb upload . And their server still gives me crap!
Crap server . Crap coding! I am done with this game . They don't even have anyone that reads the support tickets . If they did support could read my post and see my upload Pics: with proof ! Not this crap!
