Two Questions: (2nd Playthrough and decided to give crafting a shot)

1) Is there a way to make and/or improve your own leggings through crafting materials?
2) How do you turn animal scales into "scale scraps?" I believe I tried with the knife and it was the wrong combination.

1. Nope.
2. You can't. Scale scraps are metal shaped like scales from creatures, not something to do with scales from creatures.

Thanx for the reply man. Jus seems weird that u could craft armor, but not pants.
So when u get the material "animal scales," there's no way to break it down? Like when u get animal hide, u can combine it with a knife to get leather scraps.

The only thing animal scales can be used for is crafting a Skin Graft scroll by combining it with paper and a source orb.

If you haven’t already, check out the steam guides. One of them has a massive amount of recipes on there that is a great reference for learning the shenanigans that is crafting. For the most part, the most useful part of crafting is potions, scrolls and arrows. Most everything else is either not worth it, or only useful for turning cheap items into something more expensive. Crafting honestly has always felt half finished in the game.

This one. This is the one I meant. Was on lunch at work and its more of a pain in the ass to link things so I waited til I got home to link it. Favorite it and keep it handy and you'll get all the benefits of crafting.

does anyone know how to get animal scales on the list of things Han on Lady Vengeance? I see a lot of stuff but not animal scales
