Anyone beaten Alice Alicseon?
Ive encountered her before, and she one shotted my entire team on her first move. I decided to go back a few levels above her, at level 17 which is way higher than the entire region requires, still one shotted on her first move. Even with a crazy high initiative, I think its impossible to go first, it must have 99 initiative. I figured it was just some gimmicky encounter that was impossible to beat.

But I noticed the two cows you get a quest from mention the very same Alice Alisceon, who they describe as a witch. Her little shack is a bit far from the location she actually is at, but I cant figure out if its just a gimmick or if she's part of a quest. Is there a way to kill her? Or is there a quest that involves Alice? I helped one of the cows but as far as I could tell there was nothing more to be done, despite the quest refusing to be marked as complete. The only thing it had to do with her was raiding her house for a potion, with no interaction or further mention of her. Any help would be appreciated.

We beat her at level 14. Just get more magic armor, spread yourself out so she doesnt hit everyone.

i killed her by getting on the highground in ruins next to her. since i was higher than her she couldn't reach me with her spells and i oneshot her with my ranger after my tank got her attention and catched the first spells

I teleported her to the shoreline and used tremor worms to keep her from teleporting, then I just nuked her from the cliff.

I was level 14 at the time too.

Teleport her to your highest vitality player and spread everyone else out of her AOE range. She did like 4k damage to my knight but then was a pushover after that. Also helps if you teleport her out of range of the totems, although they do pitiable damage, it could make the difference between life or death for the guy that takes her initial salvo.

lvl 12, she nuked my melee lone wolf but he was resurrected by the Idol of rebirth, alright, i survived now i just have to stunlock her and destroy her....... NOPE, i got killed just by the reflection, she didn't even attack, my scoundrel at the end of the turn was dead, next turn my Ranger, used the source arrow spread skill (The ones that fire in a arc), what happened? 50% of the entire damage was reflected.

Resume, Alice didn't even need to attack, her reflection alone is capable of killing my 2 lone wolfs, not even gonna mention that she freaking regenerated her HP next turn.

Maybe because i have only 1k HP and 500 def, the first time i beat her in my first playthrough i had 3k HP and 1k+ def so even with her nuke skill she didn't do much damage, but with this time her reflection is a pain in the a$$.

Her and the one troll (think gog is his name) are optional fights and they're meant to be really tough but definitely doable.

i somehow proced hannag and she one shoted her with lava.

I just spread my team out, she only uses that absurd one shot kill attack if your grouped. Unchain chars and distrubute them before the fight starts

Just make sure you spread your team out and cc the hell out of her. After shes dead totem things are easy.

Talk to her with a character that doesn't have teleport, teleport her to Jahan while she is on dialog with other character, have fun

I left her for one of the last things to fight beforeleaving for nameless isle. I think I over cooked it because she died in three rounds and never even got through my armour. I was around level 17 I think.

LOL that is a genious solution, probably the best Ive read on here so far. Going to try it again now, thanks everyone for the input. And as guy above said, yes Grog is stupid difficult. Id say its near impossible because by the time your done with all the quests in driftwood youll be level 16-17 which still wasnt enough for me to down him. Since you cant return to an area after youve left it, its kind of lame. He two shots me and his ridiculous pool of 7000 HP regens every turn to full. The spirit of the elf near him says curse/decay spell helps but I did that and hes immune. Hes actually immune to everything as far as I know, every status effect I tried to hinder the regen.

Troll Grog or wte is easy as hell, just perma cc him since he has no armor, read his weakness, which is fire i think, so he won't regen hp when he is burning
Morgian Sep 24, 2017 @ 6:04pm
The troll is not hard. When you look closely you see he regenerates when stepping into blood (and hence his red tint).

The easy way to do Alice is send in one guy and spread out the others. Then bless the fire after her initial shot.

Just kill them in one turn. It's a very tactical and engaging thing to do with that option outside cheesing ;)
