Audio fades i and out, video keeps playing

So nothing os over top of any screen and the video plays continuisly but the audio drops in and out randomly

Are you using the mute option anywhere in the playback settings? If yes, where?

I am having the exact same issue. And as far as I can tell it does this on all wallpapers that have audio. I didn't change any settings within Wallpaper Engine. Any ideas?

NVm. I find another thread that you suggested to reset general settings. That fixed it! I must have changed something somehow when I first configured. thanks! Awesome program btw.

I had to turn off the mute option when other audio plays, nothing else was playing but Wallpaper Engine thought sdomthing was

Screen recorders will trigger this, like Nvidia Share when it is recording your system's audio.

if "other application playing audio" is "mute" or "pause" it will make that. I have my steelseries keyboard sound visualiser on, so it will register that as a audio?? if i mute that app then there is no problem

You need to insert a custom application rule then so the program can ignore the steelseries audio stream. There is no way to do it automatically for me, this is just how Windows works.

Create a new rule in the Wallpaper Engine options and choose the .exe name of that steelseries app. Then set it to keep running when it is playing audio.

Nvidia Container was my problem. (Settings -> Application Rules - Edit -> Select "nvcontainer.exe" and Condition: Is playing audio | Wallpaper Playback: Keep Running -> Ok

Happened to me too, just had to reset general settings and that fixed it.

Yo, ik this thread is kinda dead, but out of all the applications it was "hid.exe" which I use for my epic rgb ram. Was kinda loosing hope and then I was just like hmmmm RAM has music sync setting, leme try that.

This should work I suppose but I don't have such an option as "Wallpaper playback : Keep Running..". I only have options to Pause, Stop and change profiles or presets. What am I doing wrong here? :D
