FPS problem - SSAA and Advanced Physx
I have a Nvidia 670GTX and it runs smoothly when I desactivate the SSAA and Advanced Physx. If I activate these options the game is unplayable. I want to know if am I the only one with this problem. Because my video card is not even old or low gamma.

Please share your experiences

well duh. have you never looked at benchmarks or paid any attention to anything about this game before? a 670 is not fast enough to run the game smoothly on very high settings with SSAA and physx. you did not bother to list which SSAA level though but even 2x will take its toll on a 670 and 4x will be a slideshow. really even without physx or any SSAA, a 670 can not handle very high settings smoothly enough for many areas.

your physx might be borked as on some driver versions that was an issue. just delete physx from programs then run the standalone physx installer. http://www.nvidia.com/object/physx-9.13.1220-driver.html

I have 60 fps without SSAA and Physx. I know about these issues but I wanted to ask others just in case.

The seemingly endless waves of complaints about the exact thing should give you a pretty good idea already.

you dont have 60 fps the whole time even without physx and SSAA. I know because I played the game on an even faster 770 plus reviews back that up. if physx is properly working then it wont impact framerates in some places but in others it will. in other words it will vary greatly depending on where you are testing as to the impact of physx. again your system is too slow for SSAA though.

The main reason why I create this topic was that geforce experience recomended physx turned on. It gave me a lot of curiosity. I reinstalled the drivers and now it is running at 60 with physx turned on so I am happy now.

so you did what i said and physx is working now. there will be spots you cant even get 45 fps nevermind 60 fps. again where you are testing makes a huge difference. I cant be at over 100 fps turn a corner and drop to 60 with a 780. this game does not have very consistent performance.

In a few words optimization in this game is terrible.

yeah it is. sometimes performance just plummets even though there seems to be no reason. some of the tessellation is very heavy in spots even though it may not be all that noticeable. if I had a 670 then I would probably run just high settings so as to never dip below 60 fps or at least lower tessellation a notch.

I have been playing for 1 hour and it still running well. Maybe later in the game I will experiment the same. I will let u know.

Wrong thread pal, you might want to explain your issue in your own thread or search for a relevant thread.
