Help, please!
Hello everyone, I bought METRO 2033 today, at a discount. But when I run it crashes on the splash screen. What to do? Want to play. VC and DX 11 last ... Powerful computer. Help, please!

What?) I download this game and install all the components and now I got crashes... After 4A games screen

Similiar problem here, but i cant even go further than steam app loading, its starts to blinking like running and closing, and finally it doesn't start. Already trying to reinstal but didn't help.

Same thing happen to me says its unstable then crashes

Okay, i've got it up and running.
1. Disable steam auto start after running a system.
2. Go to steam/steamapps/common/Metro 2033/install
3. Run vc_redist_86, after it done doing something(there is no finish window, it will just go through some windows and thats all) go to directX folder and run DXSETUP.exe, install directX, then after installing go back to install folder and then to D3D11Install, and run .exe file. After that restart your PC, go again to install folder, and run PhysX(...).exe, for me after few clicks it showed just TEXT and cancel button, After that i run metro and its working good.

Thanks for advice, but I try it and it didn't work..(

Maybe update your graphics driver? Also try closing out of steam and restarting steam after the install before starting the new game.

My graphic driver is ok, 306.23 (GTX 560 Ti) May be... Really, I'm try to re-download
