There is not splitscreen. But there is a coop. To enable second player, you have hover over to the second player and press "select/back" to change the battle mode to whether "semi-auto" or "manual" in the menu. You can also change the mode inside the artes menu.

it wont let me change anything. its like the controller is the first player aswell as my keyboard. or do i need the 2 character i can swap to while in combat like in the demo?

or do they need a seperate copy of the game? because i cant find the controlls for a 2 player in the controller settings

Oh I see. I didnt notice you saying about the keyboard part. Yes. You need a second controller. Keyboard is P1 only. This is just like Symphonia pc port.

Yes. You can try to press a few buttons on your keyboard, and it will control your character even when you have one controller plugged into the pc. Basically, keyboard is Player 1 only. You need more controller to enable player 2. You can also try to check the controller settings, try plug in and out the controller. You will see that both keyboard and controller are both Player 1. It is separated like in Zestiria

yes i know that its just that i dont have an option to look at 2 player settings like i could in zestiria even tho i didnt have a controller plugged in. there is no sing of a 2 player being able to get into the game whatsoever.

Same. We've been trying to figure out how to activate 2nd player. We have two controllers and three party members and no option to swap an extra player to semi manual or manual

well the developer better do something about this since it says that its shared splitscreen and if i cant play with my brother i want a refund to get it on ps4 so i can play with him without having to do alot of ♥♥♥♥

I just figured it out! Go to system-- controller settings-- then scroll to player 2 then put the edit device type to game pad then assign it to controller 2.

the only problem for me is that there is no player 2 option at all

So when you go to controller settings, and go to player, it doesn't let you switch to player 2? There should be little arrows that signify you can swap.

Yeah that's really odd. It works for me with my controller... you may have to reinstall but even then it's no guarantee. Sorry I can't be of more help x.x
