DLSS has a lower priority and might come later.
Awesome! If you can wait for it, it does add that little extra bit of magic. ;)
RTX support is set to release later this month.
There's a Quake II RTX version now that demonstrates raytracing (including refraction in water), and it can even run on "lowly" nVidia 10-series GPU's but with reduced performance (no hints intended, it's not like I expect this to run raytracing on 10-series..).
I have a GTX 1080 Ti, so I won't be able to see any RTX features on this game. At least not yet (But the game looks gorgeous anyway!).
So next week or the week after that?
Like eg. 2060 renders 60fps with ray tracing and 2080ti renders 120fps with ray tracing or 60fps with double the quality?
We don't use any knowledge of what GPU you are using, since it really depends on the person that's playing what they want to prioritize. On might be fine with 30fps and better quality, and other want 120fps with less quality, we don't think it's completely fair if we make that decision. We will give choices which RayTracing effects you want to run the game with.
i'm waiting to play this game with RTX ON patiently.....
