Report a translation problem
Thanks! Maybe community can help you with the translation?
It would be hard to translate everything though, since there is quite a bit of in-game text with the various events that occur, for one. We will see what future releases bring!
1) If I got it right, major part of text is kept in [strings.en.json], right?
2)I do understand that the translation on Deutch, French and some other languages using Latin symbols is not a problem. I also know that you are planning to add Hebrew alphabet for the translation on that language. But what about Cyrillic symbols?
3)And what's up with those pictures containing text? Can you make Google spreadsheet with all the text from images to translate it? So, after that your designer will be able to replace original text on the pictures with the Russian version.
If you would like to take a look at the .json file feel free to message me with your e-mail address and I could shoot that over to you!
I've already extracted the strings.en.json file from the game resources. But if this file was changed in some way, you can send it too.
And yeah, here's what I saw in this file:
Number of strings w/o Bible study mode mate material = ~1305.
Number of strings w/o Bible mode and w/o numbers = ~1279.
By the way, about the Bible study mode material.
We can use New Russian Translation for this stuff
(Example: https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Judges+2:16&version=NRT)
This is modern translation from Russian Bible Society made in 2006, it's the "light" version.
Or we can use Russian Synodal Version
(Example: https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Judges+2:16&version=RUSV)
It's the classical translation (1876), more difficult, containing old Russian words.
Either translation would work fine, in the English version we have more than one version listed and then a link to the Bible Gateway page where they can go to whatever version they prefer.
Great. We will start to translate strings.en.json.
Can you temporary add the cyrillic Arial font in the game, just for a test? And can you send us the original fonts (.ttf or .otf), so we can add the cyrillic symbols?

Oh, and do you want the original rulebook InDesign file to work directly off of?
Fine. We'll be waiting for original fonts.
Do you mean the rulebook for Kings Of Israel board game? If you do, we have a question. I presume that you didn't translate the board game by itself, but only the rulebook. So, some of the subjects in rulebook should be left in English, right? Can you please attach the translation to any other language with the original file, so we could understand what exactly we need to translate? Thanks.
And merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

It was modified from the board game rulebook and the terms have been switched over for the ones the games uses.
i'm friend with a diakone, and if you would translate it into german, she said she could use it for their students and groups for teaching
