Welcome the game to Steam
When the game will be released on Steam, be sure you give it a good (unbiased) welcome.
Else you support Epic, as it will encourage developers to stay there.

Steam's new license means if they don't release within a month of releasing on Epic, the game will be banned from steam. Makes sense after using Steam to launch their product and then play the scummy move.

Not if they had an old contract where it didnt say that.

Depends on when to contract (license) was signed
Probably old one otherwise they would´nt do this ♥♥♥♥♥♥ move haha

I will totally buy this game.
When it comes with 75% discount.

C'mon, 2020 will be the year of Cyberpunk AND Mount and Blade 2, I will most likely not buy any other game whatsoever.

Maybe they should stay on Epic. They want Epic's money so bad? Then they should take it and stay loyal to them. Then they can lie about how much they've sold vs. how much potential sales they've lost with this move.

Hey everyone.

Please understand that the decision to be on the Epic Games Store for a year wasn't made out of a lack of care for players. This option gives us the chance to spend that extra year on features and polishing up the game before the full release, and to be able to keep funding the team while we do so. We want to be able to do our full 1.0 launch here on Steam with a strong polished game, but without having to put our team through the stress and strain of crunch to deliver that on a much tighter deadline.

I know it's frustrating that the end result is having to wait a year longer for it to be on your preferred storefront, and that's something I do understand is annoying. I just want to emphasize that this decision was made with the intention of giving us more time to make a better game.

devs not even going epic games exclusive for releases anymore. its "early access exclusive"... spin it however you want but all the goodwill and praise you earned from a lot of fans will be gone by doing this.

can you even leave comments or reviews on games at EGS yet? do you have a community hub or forum on the platform where you can get direct feedback? thats how dated and anti consumer that platform is.

I plan to review it like any other game that has been out for over a year. Because, lets be fair, that will be the truth.

Please understand that my decision to NOT support your title if it EVER arrives on Steam wasn't made out of lack of care. It was punitive, you lead the folks on then you knifed them. Now you like others are trying to smooth it out so you can possibly pick our pockets in the future. Not going to happen with this title, not going to happen with anything you publish.

I know its frustrating that the end result is a year from now we wont even remember who you or your game are. By 2021 there will be dozens more games that are actually worthy of our interest and our money.

We do have our own Discord server for conversation, feedback and so on. We're also working on getting our own forums up and running for feedback and bug reporting. This is something we've been working on as we also have console titles, and want players to be able to reach us for all of our games on all platforms.

You need to delete your steam store you dont belong here. You need to go to the EPIG store. You need to go to their forums. You look like a bunch of Moochers keeping your steam page up. I will make sure people know in a year how bad you treated the steam family.

You know what would have given you even more time and money? Crowdfunding, it's not like there are a ♥♥♥♥ ton of games doing that. The best example is probably Star Citizen. If the game is worth spending money on and giving donations to (and actually deserves support), the community will give the money if you can actually provide evidence of development progress and give information, which most failed crowdfunding games were unable to actually deliver.

Yet, you continue to exploit Steam forums and the last few shreds of goodwill that is left here.

Finished games give better satisfaction than the early access half polished games.

Given that it isn't even out on Epic right now... It's at LEAST 12 months from arriving on Steam (If ever).

And it will deserve to be reviewed as a game that has been out (however long its been actually out) and not as a shiny new title should it ever arrive on Steam.

This is bull... I've followed your game on and off on Steam for a while. It looks to become a real great game.

And then, just before a release date is picked, it becomes an Epic exclusive for a year...

I don't care if you go Epic Exclusive right from the start, but don't ♥♥♥ abuse Steam for building your community and hype, and then abandon it just for quick Epic Bux and pretend the community doesn't understand.

You abandoned us, we will abandon you.

Steam should put lines in it's policy to ban abuse like this. You market on Steam? You release on Steam. Otherwise have fun marketing on Epic, without community tools.

Stop abusing the system.
