Here's a way to deal with the 30FPS lock

No doubt you've tried to play the game at 60FPS if you're reading this and it of course broke the game as the engine logic is tied to the framerate. There is a way around this however. Rather than editing the INI to switch the game to 60FPS, download a program called Cheat Engine, open Way of the Samurai 3, select the Way of the Samurai 3 process, and check the box that says "enable speedhack" and then set the speed to whichever value you want. I have mine set to 1.18, as doubling the speed causes every animation to play at Sonic speed, but around 1.18 feels perfect for me. This makes the game feel like it's running at a far higher framerate, while not actually running higher than 30FPS meaning that things like hit detection don't get broken.
