Crash at lunch : the UE4-Avgame has crashed and will close

Hi,

When i lunch Vampyr, i got a pop up who says : the UE4-Avgame has crashed and will close and LowLevelFatalError.

I've got a gtx 980 and i've checked my drives/Intergrity of the game via steam and nothing worked.

Any idea how to fix this ?

If it is caused by game code then the fix won't be instant. Being impatient will not help anybody.

Same Error here. And I been sent in a request last night and no reply. I just sent in another rely through the website support. I am hoping to hear anything back to fixed this error code. Because I am very fustrated that I pay this money and can't even play the game. I want my money back if this is not solve....

Crash beim Start: Low Level Fatal Error

Moin zusammen,

ich hab so'n kleines Problem. Unzwar schließt sich direkt nach dem Start das Spiel und ich bekomme folgende Meldung:

The UE4-AVGame has crashed and will close

Kann mir zufällig wer weiter helfen???

I found a fixed to my issue. With the error codes and all. A few days ago my computer did the new update of windows 10. Ever since then, I cannot play on ANY Unreal Engine 4 games(I try playing all the other game, next to this game) and all given the same error code I been having. So I return to a older version of window 10(the previous version I orginally had). And now I can play this game and all my other unreal engine game with no errors!

If all of you have been getting the error code like I been getting, try going back to a previous window 10 version and hopefully you can play this game with no errors!(It worth a shot.) Hopefully this helps someone...

1- Nvidia release a new driver today, you must do the update
2- Go to /Vampyr/AVGame/Binaries/Win64 and right click on AVgame-Win64-Shipping.exe and click on Run compatibility troubleshooter
3- A pop up will say that you must run this programm with win8, you'll get an option to test the program
The game will lunch without the error. Me and 2 of my friends solved our issue with that.
At least, we can play in time that we get a patch that solve this problem
