I noticed that if your using nvidia check their patch notes, last driver 398.36 said something about Known Issues.... stuttering. Might want to take a look at patch notes.

Also 8.3 gb patch but no content ??

Thanks this is great news and progress but please keep updates coming!
my main issue with the game, the stuttering, has not been addressed. frametimes are still all over the place. this is unacceptable.
Hi,

this may sound... "r3tarded" but... How come this update weights 8GB???
IS there any new texture and so on? 8GB of update, that's a HUGE update, most of DLC do not even get to this. so i'm really curious about its "real" content, if it's not downloading the whole game again.

yep. Dontnod fu*ck you.
It's not Unreal Engine 4, it's sh*it. Your programmers are just a shame!
I will not buy games from you anymore!
I love the game but please add manual saving i dont want to have to restart the game if i miss something or fail an option of dialogue.
If your having stuttering , first make sure your windows power settings is set to high performance , then if nvidia go into control panel and add this game and set performance setting to maximum performance. Then if still have stuttering look at what driver your running , if its the newer drivers it might be caused by them like i said, but im not having stuttering. Also if on win 10 check out performance tweaks for it.

And for the 8gb update, either the devs dont know how to do steams patching that only affects changed files or its just the devs not knowing ue4.

Its a peculiarity of how the unreal engine works and how the game is split up in bigger packages. So if they find a tiny bug somewhere in part 1 (2GB size for example) they have to replace the complete part. If there were more wrong code than just one,... well, you see the pattern ;)
