Final Boss is Unfair!
Okay, so I'm up to the final boss who has an incredibly easy first form, followed by a ridiculously hard second form. Not only do they have high damage resistance, but the fight takes place in an enclosed space and they can summon EXPLODING minions from all around the arena to converge on my position.

Adding to this is the fact I only just realized death does NOT replenish your recently used items, such as serums. Meaning that every time I get killed by them, I spawn with less resources than when I started the fight.

This is also the final stretch of the game, meaning I don't see any means of acuiring money to replenish my supplies, other than to suffer through hours and hours of grinding, since money is very hard to come by. Practically everything sells for dirt cheap, earning me only a handful of shillings at a time. Adding to the frustration is that the merchants seem to have a randomly selected assortment of materials and goods when I visit them!

My only hope for possibly gaining enough power to challenge the boss without refilling my gear is to devour the Hospital and West End districts. I've already eaten everybody in the Docks and most of the people in White Chapel, so they're permanently hostile areas now. However, even if I did that, I'm not sure what to spend the XP on, since the build I have now has been pretty adequate for tearing my enemies to shreds, only for this final enemy to insanely strong compared to be everything else I've faced so far!

Me and another guy were talking about this in a diffrent thread.

As it turns out, you can bite the bloodlings that get spawnd up! Treat the fight like a darksouls boss, staying close and constantly dodging to either side until shes done her 3-hit combo then blast off abilities/attack and repeat the steps, stunning+eating bloodlings once they spawn, If you are quick enough you'll beable to bite 3-4 of them withought even getting hit AND they will explode harmlessly around you when you are in the biting animation :D

After I learned about the stunnable bloodlings the fight was super easy.
If you die you can easilly regen blood on lumpyarm in the first fight by beating her down with your secondary attack, instead of having to get out of the sewers and track down enemys.

Legit, bloodlings are love, bloodlings are life.

im stuck in that fight too but the blood spawns arent bitable for me for some reason, they just die after i hit them

i am at lvl 39 and prior to this boss fight ive been on a killing spree granting me a ton of XP
however, given how hard this boss is i am just going to say screw it and use cheat engine....only play this game for the story anyways

Yeah, I'm somewhere in the level 30 range, too. I've also got orange tier weaponry and my powers are focused almost completely around offense. I've got maximum level Claws, Regeneration, Hard Bite and Rage. My stamina is almost maxed out, while my health and blood capacity are somewhere in the mid-high tier.

I've also got serums and ammunition capacity in the mid tier range. I'm glad I don't have to buy ammo, or this would be the point I call it quits.

I beat the final boss on the first try. She's weak to guns so I unloaded all my ammo into her then used barrier and just went in swinging. I had a fully upgraded sword that does 240 damage. When my stamina got low, I jumped back and waited for it to fill up, kiting around the room. I didn't bother with the gargoyles at all. I have health and stamina maxed out and my sword gives blood on hit. Fairly easy fight to be honest. I was level 38 when I fought her.

There are no gargoyles in this game. I was talking about treating it like a Dark Souls boss.

Anyways, the gun I'm primarily using is an orange tier semi automaatic with incindiary armo.

Her attack pattern isn't too hard to deal with. It's just the explosive minions that are a pain in the ass.

Her first form is incredibly easy. I had only taken out a quarter of her health before I knew a second form was coming.

Well, after binge drinking the last 2 healthy districts, I finally managed to defeat her.

I used the experience to max out my stamina, health and blood pools, while also maxing out Coagulate and my Ammo Cartraige. I wasn't sure coagulate would affect the final boss, but I'm glad to see that it did, because it allowed me to get the occasional free hit on her.

I'm not too upset about having to kill all the healthy districts, because that's kind of what I had planned to do on my first playthrough anyways. But it was still frustrating having to backtrack all over the city to do it, since there's no fast travel system that I've been able to find so far.
