Rank reset

Today i prestiged for the first time, and after a bunch of level, my rank has been completely reset (only emblem and title saved) for no apparent reason. i'll wait as laptop65 said and hope that Treyarch will fix the problem. But my question is: can i make a local backup of my rank like in mw2?

No, you can't make a local backup of your stats. The stats are saved on Treyarch's servers.

I finally got back up to lvl 44 today, decided to join a game after try out a new gun. rank and achievements got reset to Zero.....happens to everyone. This is my 2nd time....bunch of B.S., contact support or wait a week for them to do it themselves

luckly yesterday my prestige came back, but it has been more than a wek

*RIGHT NOW* I edited my classes, joined a server and noticed I can only pick the default ones. Turns out my everything was reset completely for some reason. Why is this game so buggy. :-<

According to http://steamcommunity.com/app/42710/discussions/0/810938082640343185/ they may fix it. Hopefully it's true.

Yeah not much choice really. Hopefully it wasn't some sort of server failure. It's weird cause it happened right after I copied and edited one of my classes, going back to main menu and joining a server I was already lvl1. Since neither of those things mentioned in the sticky apply, I just have to wait I guess. Meh. :-|

Hm, I apologise if this info is somewhere on those forums (or anywhere else), but I've just spent like 20 minutes looking for a support email. Just in case I need it in a week (or earlier, depends on my patience). I'm not really willing to create a twitter account or any other account for that matter just to contact Treyarch's support... So, do they even have any support email or not really? The only thing I found was the "info" email, will try asking them for support email I guess.

Last night (July 24) after leaving a game on a server with (ahem) questionable players, I noticed my rank was reset too. Lost all perks, weapons, etc. I figure either a glitch, or I was hacked. The perks and weapons came back today, but my previous combat record is gone, which, I guess, considering I can work on a new one, might be a plus. Interesting to read I'm not the only one it's happened to.

Have you contacted pc_devassist on twitter? Tell him that your stats have been reset and you've waited for two weeks now. Give him a link to your steam profile as well.
