MULTIPLAYER matches arrangements
Good news. Singularity multiplayer works with both the STEAM and beyond STEAM versions of the game, meaning we can play. It is very helpful to build an in-game friendslist. Starting a game with default options, you will be thrown into public lobby. Public game would launch only with set of six players. To have a game with smaller amount of players or even to enter alone to check the options, go into private match section. Your friends can join you via friendslist, as well as you can invite them that way to your game.

Unfortunately, nowadays with almost extinct multiplayer population of Singularity, special initiative seems mandatory to have any games going at all. That is why arranging multiplayer matches terms appears unavoidable. If you want a multiplayer game, post here to set up a term of the match!

If you see anyone in a public lobby, immediately click on the nickname and add to friends!

14th June 2017 UTC:

I am very glad to announce a smaller amount of players can have a private game, which allows for better variety in choice of options - suggesting building an in-game friendslist. Good game Necronyam, Vadvenar and Dedofthecat! The game plays just fine with some teambased capture versus defense scenarios and playable units wide selection array!

Next gathering is 15th June 2017, Thursday, 16:45 UTC standard - https://time.is/UTC - I will wait for players for about 45 minutes.

I have posted a status to STEAM befriended users:
SINGULARITY players UNITE!

MULTIPLAYER matches arrangements and explanation as to why they are needed:

http://steamcommunity.com/app/42670/discussions/0/1354868867728085870/

SINGULARITY is a science-fiction, first person view shooter set in a historical context. The game is available for nearly 20 euro on STEAM, but you may get it for as much as 10% of that price should you dig around a bit or catch a good sale. Digging is also needed to run the game on modern systems, the tips to which you may find on the STEAM forum. The game uses blur instead of antialiasing if that matters to anyone. The most distinct flaw of SINGULARITY is the default unchangeable narrow field of vision, which may be crack-widened with an external program.

The aim of the initiative is to try how the MULTIPLAYER of SINGULARITY plays, so if you have the game, you can help out!
If you want to help, you can post something about the Singularity multiplayer matches as well, just mind to notice there are ways to get the game cheaper than the basic STEAM price says.

15 June 2017 UTC:

Today myself and Necronyam had a deathmatch type duel of creatures versus soldiers throughout various different maps, good game! Simultaneously I had an occasion to more awarely test different weapons, special attributes and protagonist classes configurations, attempting to find what suits me best on both sides of the gameplay conflict.

Next gathering: 16th June 2017, Friday, 16:30 UTC standard - https://time.is/UTC - I will wait for players for about 45 minutes.

I wait for players in a public lobbly, though as soon as guests appear, we typically move to private match, which is then reachable only through in-game friendslist, therefore in case you find the lobby empty at the announced waiting time and then find a notification here stating the match took place, add me on STEAM and in Singularity - in Singularity my nickname is "DamageMachine" [without quotemarks]. I will try to settle you as soon as I recognize someone else is out there.

Today I was asked, why do I continue with those Singularity gatherings if they prove little effective? Actually until today at least one person was joining each time, so eventually we could have a duel. I think the multiplayer to this game is great and it does deserve a remark.

I am okay with those hostings when I have time, I can sacrifice that hour of waiting to skim the forums, read some news, listen to music and watch some videos on the Internet - just regular stuff that I would do in lack of better option. Simply leisure. Fortunately the game allows ALT+TAB.

I host these games to display my applaud for the Singularity multiplayer. I hear people tell here and there they want to play Singularity multiplayer. Well, all that is needed is to just communicate to achieve a common goal and get the game going, especially that Singularity is fully operational without any downloads nor tweaks. My initiative is an introductory step towards it, also a declaration on my part. If people tell they want to play Singularity multiplayer but remain apathetic towards communicating and actually doing anything - such as checking their local time in relation to UTC standard, then appearing the right place, right time - means they disregard Singularity multiplayer and want to achieve nothing in that matter.

Just like in life, if you want something, pay at least a little effort - as little as getting yourself organized a bit. If you refuse to, it simply means you hold Singularity multiplayer in disregard and all your voice on wanting to have multiplayer for this game going on is just pointless mumbling, once the option is transparently put and everything technically ready.

I have already seen this in life, this apathy and I know all the initiative is going nowhere, nonetheless it is my pride to continue with what I do at least for some time - until enough - because later I will be told, as I recognize, that I restrained from doing anything to help the community in given matter. So now that you know it, know that you gave up the option.

One thing to take notice of: if you hit the lobby and see anyone there, immediately click the nickname and add to friends. It is very important to build up a social network. Otherwise it is all random and going nowhere, minding the game is as dead in terms of online gaming as it can be. These matches hosting that I try to put already are futile necromancy and it is clear, but I am going to do it until it looks just cynical.
