I'm trying to play, but the controls don't work. WASD do nothing. The only button that works is the escape key to quit. My Xbox 360 controller doesn't work either. Is there something I need to do to make it work? I'm on windows 10.

After an hour or so with the game I'm really liking it so far, but it's definitely got that NES era level of unforgiving when it comes to failure states. Not a bad thing by any means, but I'm not so sure I can master this thing in the span of a Halloween season if I keep ending up at the title screen after 3 lives. I'd really love to see a continue system added so it's possible to keep at least part of your progress after an unfortunate series of screwups. Call it casual mode or whatever you like, but...

1. Camera shake locks the screen low for some reason. Had it happen even without the shake in floor one where the camera wouldn't drop until it was too late, but most obvious with the thwomp-likes in stage 2. 2. I can't leave easily. The pause menu isn't nearly as accessible as it was. Kinda a huge pain as a speedrunner of the game to not have that restart button, but huge pain for anyone trying to leave the game without Alt-F4 Please don't fix ladder glitch or laugh-walk-lock....

I always wanted to get the little pumpkin pail emoji on the steam points shop, but I needed more playtime to allow the purchase. Today I finally played enough to allow me to get Halloween Forever items, but all the Halloween Forever emojis are missing from the steam points shop. In fact, the only thing there is one background. Is anyone else having this problem? Were the emojis removed? :(...
